Ebay adding Best Offers without my consent

Ebay constantly add Best Offers to my items without my consent. Despite calling them and reporting this the issue continues. Today is 11 February, and l havd already had FIVE of the dreaded "your chances of selling have just gone up" emails this month. Even worse is that not only do they apply this unwanted Best Offer to the items they mention in the email, but l have to go through all my listings to find other items they have added it to. Does anyone know how to get Ebay to STOP this. I do not WANT Best Offers!!!

Use a computer - not an app - and "Advanced listing" where it is an option.

I cannot see the point [certainly for BINs] as you could simply put a lower price if you are willing to take a lower offer. 

For any listings which are live with offers you could modify the text to say - in big letters - "I will not take offers" and simply ignore them.

Thanks. I had thought about adding a message to listings saying l don't accept offers, but I thought it would tick off customers who - rightly - would wonder why my listing contained the wording "or best offer". I think Ebay are really wrong to be going this. If any seller wants to accept offers they have the option to say so when creating a listing. It is just plain annoying to sellers and customers alike for Ebay to arbitrarily decide to offer my goods at prices l will not accept.

Calling them won't help,  as it's one of eBay's new ' enhancements',  not  beloved by many!

So,   to stop this when coming to list items,  after selecting Sell ,  go top right and use the advanced / business listing tool.  Ignore that it says it's for high volume and business sellers only,  it isn't,  it's for everyone to use.

There,  you have more control over your account,  and can de select that BO option.

Thanks - I will give it a try. When l last spoke with Ebay they put me on the seller hub, which would allow me to remove "or best offer" from up to 500 listings at as time, but this is also time consuming as half of the time l get an error message and have to try again, and then I have to do it all over again maybe a day later. Truly it seems a crazy thing for them to be doing - just tickling off everyone for no good reason!
