CAN ANYONE EXPLAIN WHY EBAY ARE CONDONING FRAUD AND CONNIVING BY CERTAIN BUYERS, A BUYER WHO PURCHASED A VAN THAT I  LISTED  ON EBAY 4 WEEKS AGO AND DID NOT PAY FOR THE VEHICLE AND  DID NOT EVEN MAKE CONTACT,DESPITE SEVERAL REQUESTS WAS NOT EVEN CONTACTED BY THESE RODENTS. ON CHECKING HIS FEEDBACK IT APPEARED HE HAS DONE THIS BEFORE AND ALSO SOLD VEHICLES WITH SERIOUS DEFECTS,WHICH WAS CONFIRMED BY NEGATIVE FEEDBACK. WHEN I ATTEMPTED TO LEAVE FEEDBACK TO WARN OTHER SELLERS ABOUT THIS WASTE OF SPACE,EBAY REFUSED TO ALLOW FEEDBACK TO BE LEFT. ON CONTACTING THEM I WAS NOT EVEN GIVEN A REASON WHY THEY WERE DOING THIS.I HAVE ALSO NOTICED THAT THEY HAVE REMOVED NEGATIVE FEEDBACK CONCERNING A £3,500 CAR HE SOLD WHERE THE GEARBOX EXPLODED 34 MILES AFTER PURCHASE.THIS TOERAG NOW HAS POSITIVE FEEDBACK REGISTERED BUT NO ONE IS ALLOWED TO MAKE HIS STINKING REPUTATION KNOWN. THIS IS DEFINITELY A CON ON THE PART OF EBAY AND ALSO IS CLEAR CONNIVING BETWEEN THEM AND THIS RODENT BUYER. EBAY ALSO HAVE THE SHEER AUDACITY TO TELL ME TO PAY LISTING FEES FOR NOT SELLING MY VEHICLE,AFTER THIS COCKROACH MESSED THE SALE OF MY VAN UP AND COST ME MONEY..OTHER EBAY SELLERS BEWARE AND DO NOT EXPECT ANY HELP FROM THE EBAY TOERAGS.

the option for sellers to leave negative feedback was removed nearly 10 years ago!!

sellers were holding buyers to ransom and feedback was not showing true,

so ebay removed the option for sellers and introduced non payment strikes instead,

these work really well if sellers do it properly,

when you have a non payer you need to complete a non payment case to get your final value fees refunded and give them a non payment strike

then add the non payers ID to your blocked list

then set you bidder requirements to block bidders with two or more non payment strikes in the last 12 months

once a non payment case has been completed the non payer cannot leave the seller any feedback and any negative feedback they might have left before the case was completed, is removed.

I'm fascinated,

you added this statement in your listing:-

I am listing it as spares due to the idiots at ebay and their stupid cr*p.

and then listed it in the motors category where you were charged a £10 insertion fee, if you had actually listed it in the vehicle spares category you wouldn't have been charged that insertion fee,

so what ebay 'stupid cr*p' would that have been?

Sellers have not been allowed to leave negative feedback for buyers for over 10 years.  However, from what you say several other buyers have left false positives - neg comments on positve green rating - just as you were trying to do.

Sellers who do this, are the biggest part of the problem and the main reason that bad buyers get away with doing it over and over again.

If they, and you, completed unpaid item disputes, not only would your selling fees be refunded, but the buyer would get a strike.  After 2 strikes, he would not be able to bid again.   If the other sellers had done that, he would not have been able to buy your item in the first place.  Much more effective than  "making his stinking reputation known".  How would you knowing have stopped him from winning your item ?
