Double order due to app glitch

At checkout I pressed to pay and the payment circle kept spinning and went on for ages, like it was frozen. I pressed the back button and tried again and the item was processed fine. It now turns out the exact same item was ordered and paid for twice at the same time but with different order numbers. I have instant payment so didn't have to enter any details.  Realised now both item have been posted and they are personalised but I have yet to receive. Can't set up a refund yet but who's fault is this glitch?  EBay or seller , me ? Where do I stand on this issue.

If it is a Business Seller you can return one for a refund but will have to pay return postage.

 

I am afraid that ebay will not accept responsibility even if it was a Glitch. You duplicated and orders were Instant Payment required. That is set by the seller NOT THE BUYER.

 

Always check what has happened BEFORE duplicating/repeating an order and payment.
