Disgraceful feedback without reason or warning

Hi last month we had someone purchase and item from us on a saturday morning (closed over the weekend), along side the purchase was a customer note saying "please deliver Monday" we found this out on the Monday while processing the weekends orders, we sent the item first class as requested so he received it Tuesday, I was a little suspicious for some reason I do not know if the purchasers name came to the back of my mind for some reason so I looked to see if he had purchased before and blocked but could not find anything but his name brough back memories of disputes, I researched if anyone else had sold the same product over the weekend and yes they had and to the same person  a few minutes before, so two purchases for the same item from two different suppliers.

I decided to cover my back side and report the person just in case, with us seeing this type of purchase many times, where someone buy one thing from you and pays for faster postage then the same item from another seller with standard postage, so the higher of the two prices (upgrade postage)  then gets returned at a later date, the report went through then nothing for a month and all forgotten about, yippee it wasnt a scam! until yesterday when to my shock I received negative feedback without any warning at all, no communication from the buyer, he instantly came to mind when I looked at his ebay ID, it turns out he has also left negative for the other seller? and I bet he has done nothing wrong either, the buyer has a real problem in life if he feels he can just leave randon negatives like that, he seems to have a history of leaving people negatives.

more annoyed than anything because who ever he is had not reason what so ever to complain, he never even pressed down a key to say anything to us other than the feedback a month later.

There is not a lot you can do.

You could try phoning ebay and see if they will remove it 

Has he left a few negs?.

They may check to see if there were any messages 

I would not hold my breath as buyers are usually right in ebay land but always worth a try
