Dirty packaging

Seller sent items in pizza box with greasy stains, yuck. I paid £8 postage and packaging item post value £4.20. I have sold on eBay too, and I don't understand why they couldn't of got a free box and cut it down. I'm havnt used eBay in a while and I have noticed the few items I have bought from the UK, the bare minimum being used to wrap items i.e plastic bags.

Plastic bags are still clean and item is undamaged. I am aware that not all sellers are business sellers, and don't sell regularly, so buying multiple sizes postage bags can be expensive. However a dirty food container is next level. I was wondering if this was just due to eBay costs. However it doesn't matter.

It probably is down to cost, and many sellers, quite rightly in my opinion, use recycled materials for packing, but as you say, soiled food packaging should not be up there in any shape or form. It isn't something that most sellers would do.
