Delivery estimate

Hi my delivery estimates are showing incorrectly on some purchases 

example 

buyer paid Sunday 21st March 

I use 3 working day dispatch + 3-5 day courier ( I infact actually use 2/3 service but like a bit of leeway)

buyer given an estimate delivery of today 25th March  and is moaning cos I only parcelled up Tuesday for collection Wednesday morning, which is within my 3 day dispatch but the parcel will be lucky to arrive Friday/Saturday 

how can they estimate only 4 days for delivery? 
order details show a delivery service of 3/5 day service.

EBay has omitted to answer your reasonable question, which was how a dispatch time of 3 days plus an economy courier of 3 - 5 days can equate to a 4 day estimated deliver date.

EBay seems to be all over the pace regarding delivery times. This morning a seller complained about losing business because eBay's estimated delivery time is longer than it should have been.

Also, eBay's definition of estimated delivery date still says nothing about sellers on managed payments. The estimated delivery date is supposed to start from the time the selelr has received cleared payment into their account. But does this now include the delay of several days before eBay passes on the buyer's payment to the seller?

EBay must be hemorrhaging sales to Amazon's next day deliveries so you would have expected them to get their act together.

You need to keep an eye on this as if buyer marks as late delivery that goes on your record. Even worse is that if tracked the tracking can show as delivered after the estimated arrival date,abnd tyat can also damage your selling account.

I would't use Packlink as they are unnecessary middlemen . Thay deliver nothing just in most cases passing on to Hermes. You are paying Ebay, Packlink and Hermes for a service that only takes one company, and if you ever have to make a claim for loss or damage, that is when you will find out how hopeless they are, as they cover very little but you still have to refund the buyer.

I contacted eBay and all chat said was do you want passing to packlink to find out where the parcel is ? 
the parcel is not late it's on track
