Delivery Notifications for Courier Deliveries

Hi,

I can't find a way to contact Ebay, but this has been going on forever.

Occasionally seller use couriers instead of Royal Mail for deliveries, and when they do, the "Your package has been delivered" email/notification is always 5-10 prior to the actual delivery. Even though the tracking information shows it as "delivered" despite not being anywhere near my address. Over 500 miles away in the case this morning.

Royal mail are always accurate within minutes, so it's clearly possible for it to work.

Has anyone managed to contact Ebay about this?

Edit to note - this is not a single courier - so far DPD, Hermes (almost always lose the item), Yodel and DHL have all displayed the same behaviour.

Must be a Local Problem with your Hermes Depot. I haven't experienced what you describe. Since Coronavirus Deliveries have been badly affected. Royal Mail Deliveries have taken longer than Hermes. However everything seems to be working A Ok now. Is not something EBay would get involved with.
