Deleted Unsold listings

Ebay suggests I can recover an item I've deleted. The instructions don't make sense however.

I always delete an unsold item when I relist it.  So there are no listings showing to "undelete" or am I doing something wrong?

Annoyingly a friend can see the listing for my unsold item but I cannot.

Can anyone explain how I retrieve them. I have a business account.

 look at your sold items by clicking on view listings next to your ID,

then choosing 'completed' in the left hand column
