Delete item from watch list

One item is stuck in my watch list.  I have tried deleting it from the summary list and also from the item listing, but it just won't go.

After deleting from the Summary List it doesn't vanish completely but becomes greyed out.  It's back when the page is reloaded.

What can be done about this?

Using a PC/Laptop, try this ... Open Watch page, find item, tick the little box to left of item and scroll up to Delete ... Refreshing the page (F5) immediately stops the item reappearing (example) >>

Your solution was correct. My difficulty was trying to delete the item from the My eBay Summay Watch list rather than the watch list itself. I'm using a laptop by the way. Over the years I've always used the Summary Watch list to remove hundreds of items, but this was the first occation deletion could only be done from the Watch list itself. Somewhat mystifying to me. Have you tried deleting by ticking the box next to the item in your watched list, then scrolling up the page and clicking on the delete tab.

Also clearing your browsers cookies and cache

I have tried the three possibilities:
1. Deleting in the watch list.
2. Deleting by ticking the adjacent box and then at the top of the pag as you suggest.
3. opening the listing and deleting from there.
All to no avail.
The item listing ended some time ago.

Then all I can suggest now is using the classic view on a mobile device rather than the ebay app,or use a Pc/laptop.

Your solution was correct. I was deleting the item from MyeBay Summary Watch list. Although I have deleted hundreds of items over the years by this route, for this particular item alone it was ineffective. Only going to the Watch List itself was deletion effective. Thanks for your help. Regards.
