I'm a private seller and sold a brand new with tags knitted garment that was an unwanted gift. Buyer complained that some of the knit came unravelled after washing. Ebay customer services advised that refund policy does not apply in these circumstances but the buyer has started a return for refund process. Anyone had experience of this situation and does Ebay still find in favour of buyer as is usual?
As you are clearly an unregistered business seller, better to accept return or buyer can complain about your status.
Then upgrade to business before ebay force you to & report you to HMRC.
