DODGY BUYER

We sold an expensive phone to a buyer in SL and he has opened a case stating that the phone we sent was different. He has uploaded photos of a cheap phone which he wants to send back. Unfortunately its the Ebay US who is handling the case and there is no way they will provide us seller protection. Spoke to a US CS agent "wayne" twice and he reitterates that the seller being a business will sometimes need to bare the loss if the buyer cheats. 

 

What options do we the seller have?

The first thing to do is to try & get the IMEI blocked, report the phone as lost/stolen,

apart from that, not much.
