Hi i bough a customised football kit seller description said to include name and number required after sale to them other wise shirt would be blank.
i added note to seller upon completing check out and also sent a message with details. The seller responded via message saying yes all with have however shirt has arrived blank.
when i message the seller they appologise and asked for pictures with i provided . They then told me i hadnt comunicated to have it customised so factory sent it as it was....
i have sent screen shots of purchase with note of customised details and email with customised detail, also screen shot of there description with instruction to have it customised.
Can someone advise me as it clear there going to blame myself for there inabilty to deliver the item customised even though i followed there instructions im get quiet annoyed now.
thank you kindly
If you can't resolve it with the seller, open a case under eBay's money back guarantee, through the resolution centre: https://resolutioncentre.ebay.co.uk/
I don't think there's any doubt that you will win, provided the listing was clearly for a customised shirt. How stupid for the seller to send a blank one! If a buyer fails to supply the details for customisation, they could simply have cancelled the sale.
To qualify, you must have paid through eBay's checkout and must open a case within 30 days after the actual (or latest estimated) delivery date, or, if the seller's return window is longer, within their return window.
The seller is allowed 3 business days in which to respond. After that, the option will appear for you to escalate the case, if necessary, for eBay to step in and help. This option remains available for 21 days from the date the case was opened.
If the seller wishes the item to be returned, eBay will enable them to send you a prepaid return label (provided the item location was stated to be in the UK). Once returned, eBay will process your refund.
If the seller doesn't reply or you're not happy with their response, escalate the case. Follow any instructions and time limits carefully, and don't agree to close the case until you have received your refund.
