What the heck is happening on the Customer service live chat line.

I was just on for 1hr 28mins and still got nowhere with somone named Rocky who barely understood English.

This is not ebay!! If you read the heading,you will see that we are members like you.

You don't say why you needed to contact ebay. Mostly it is unnecessary particularly when there are language difficulties.

Why not give details of the problem on here, that is what the Answer Centre is for. If it is not something that has to be ebay, we can give advice on most subjects.

I was figuratively speaking John re Ebay!
The issue I have is a system glitch which I raised yesterday that no-one seems to be able to answer. I wanted technical advice on how to rectify and what to do etc.
It's not about process or procedure it's about the system not behaving. If you can help with that then I'm all ears!

Instead of just complaining  about eBay customer support, why not tell us what the problem is, when someone could probably have helped you?

Do you really NEED to contact eBay? Most people who think they do, don't. Customer support is limited at the moment anyway due to the covid-19 emergency.

Most questions can be answered by eBay's help pages. Rather than wait for eBay's overcrowded help line, first try entering a few words in the Help & Contact search field (see top of screen).

It is not a normal query red-magpie it's a system error which I posted about yesterday and none can seem to answer. Thx anyway.
I need to complain as I've mention this many times before and eaby have done nothing to assist in anyone notifying of system errors! I think they don't believe they happen.

ebay CS are suffering with lack of staff because of COVID-19

Tried that but none knows the answer! It's a system error

There are delays at the moment, probably to do with staff shortages but weekends always seem to be bad.   Try again on Monday.
