Contacting ebay

Can any one  explain to me  how to contact ebay with out going through a minefield.. I am 77 years old and not at one with the  superfluous amount and mostly unnecessary information, let alone know what they are asking. ebay is holding back funds for something which I sold ,  saying that I have not posted it,  I do have proof of postage from the Post Office.   Any one who can help  would be on  my forever gratefull list                                             Regards Robbie

So have you marked it as despatched?   You very rarely need to speak to eBay.  They are based in Philippines and sometimes do not understand the nuance of what you are saying.

Did you send the item tracked?  If it is the plane then that would ahve the 16-digit reference as a 1st or 2nd class parcel which - while not tracking - allows for "scanned at doorstep".  If you did either then enter the numbers into the selling summary.   If you are a new, or occasional, seller then eBay may hold funds for up to 21 days.  They are perfectly safe and will be released after 21 days or sooner if tracking shows delivery.  It is said that receipt of positive feedback also releases the money sooner
