Concerns about a fraudster!

We have recieved a message from 'eBay' to confirm that an item we ordered had been delivered.

However, this appears untrue and after speaking to the courier (Yodel) they confirmed that the name and address that it was delivered to was different from the one stated.

 

In addition to this, before we purchased this item we looked at the seller's profile who had 90% plus postive feedback and went ahead with the purchase.

 

Now we are checking through, his positive feedback is down to 67% and comments are now private. I have contacted the seller twice and though it is early, I am not anticpating any response due to this.

 

His user name is goldberg1993.

  1. Have anyone had similar dealings with this situation
  2. It may appear that this is fraudlent so how am I able to claim back the money we paid for the item?

You open a case for item not received in the Resolution Centre.

 

The only way the case will close in the seller 's favour is if they enter a tracking number which has shown delivery to your address,  that is,  the address you have on the Paypal transaction.

 

Escalate the case on days 9 - 21 if not refunded beforehand.
