New seller so apologies if this is covered elsewhere.
If you sell an expensive item as collection only, do you have a system to prove it was actually taken?
Read some horror stories where the collector has disputed and won by saying they never took the items / wasnt them etc?
Do you ask for a signature? Picture? Contract?
Just want to make sure I do the right thing when I sell as I have already had issues with a buyer refusing to pay once agreed.
Thank you in advance.
This is not a simply subject and a lot depends on how ou are paid. Ideally it should be Cash on Collection.
I suggest you have good read on the whole subject, by going to HELP & CONTACT at the top of most pages or bottom right of this page enter Subject as COLLECTION ITEMS.
There is a lot of information including suggestions for preventing fraudulent claims for Not received.
For non payers again enter Non Payer in Help& Contact to find the new procedure for giving Non Payers Unpaid Strikes.
