Closing a case

An item I sold never arrived (lost in Royal Mail system) e-bay refunded the buyer from my pay-pal account but they have not closed the case - it is still showing as open - any one know how I should resolve this please?

Why did Ebay refund, you should have dealt with it then you get the selling fee refunded. If Ebay get involved then you still pay the fee.

 

Can't understand if refunded correctly that the case is still open, but only the buyer can cancel the case through the resolution centre.  

 

If nothing is done then it will eventually run out of time.

 

It might pay to not contact the buyer, depending on the circumstances, if no feedback has been left the buyer might suddenly remember to leave some.
