I purchased an item on 3rd July, realising about an hour later I had ordered the wrong size so messaged the seller to ask to cancel, I then receved a message back from the seller a few hours later saying "no problem Its been cancelled." I was waiting for my refund, but have not had it, but received a message yesterday from eBay (6 days later (not Seller) saying too late now to cancel, I have tried to find a number or email address but have not managed to find anything, none of the options apply to my situation, What can I do? Why have thery made it so hard to conract them?
If the cancellation did go through the refund is automatic. The money returns to source taking 7 days to reach your bank account (debit card) or up to 30 days to return to credit card.
If the cancellation didn't happen wait until after the estimated delivery date on the listing then report that your item hasn't arrived on the far right of your order in Purchase History. If necessary escalate after 3 business days to get the refund.
