Cancelled order - will it come?

I recently ordered an item on ebay and recieved the usual "order confirmed" email and a notification from PayPal that it has been paid for then I get another mail stating

"We had to cancel your recent order.

Unfortunately, due to concerns, the item listed below has been removed from the site.

This won’t interrupt your order. But if you have any problems, you’re covered by eBay’s Money Back Guarantee and can request a refund"

When I try to contact the buyer through recent orders or purchase history the page has indeed been removed and the system does not recognise the item number so I can't even contact the seller.

Do I sit tight and hope, order another item from a different seller, any ideas?

Wait until the delivery period is over then open an item not received case,if you cannot open with eBay then use Paypal https://www.paypal.com/uk/disputes/ 

Escalate it after 2 days and before 20 days.
