It's possible, to avoid this happening you are better off to complete an unpaid item case instead.
Once the case is closed the buyer cannot leave any feedback and any left in the interim can be removed.
Open from 2 days after close of sale, close 4 days later.

Ah that's different then, in that case send your buyer a grovelling apology stating that you've misplaced the item and will need to cancel. Hopefully they will be understanding and be ok with it but if they get cross then there's nothing to stop them leaving bad feedback i'm afraid. A nice note asap will go a long way to smooth it over though i'm sure. good luck with your move, it's stressful enough without an eBay problem!
