Cancel an order

Hello I had an item for sale on bid, after a day and 6 days left someone contact me with the request of a buy now price, we agreed a price so I cancelled the listing and relisted the item with a buy now option. Now I got the person that made the only bid being very angry at me, say that I have to cancel the sales and relist the item again or he will report me to eBay.
Please advice.

Ebay will charge you the Final Value Fee and give you a Damaging Defect for Cancelling the legitimate Bid. Ebay don't like Unhappy Buyers.

You can't Cancel Bids to Sell to someone else. Is NOT how Ebay works.
