Can’t remove watch items.

I have few items in my watch list I want to remove yet when I try it comes back with an error and saying this item can’t be removed at this time, try later. This has been going on for days and I have even deleted and reinstalled the app.

Major issues with the app,  eBay are working on this we are told.  They advise to switch to a laptop / PC for now to manage the Watch List.
