Can't pay with Paypal

I'm a buyr trying to buy a few things on ebay, from different sellers, but there's a problem going from ebay to Paypal.

I fill in my details but get stuck in a loop and then the Paypal fields I filled in goes blank.

In the link from Ebay to Paypal there;s helios in the link. I haven't seen that before.

I tried many times yesterday, and have tried again today, but unfortunately the problem is still there.

So I called customer services and they're aware of the problem. I can pay using a card for now, until they sort it out.

I clear cookies, I'm using Firefox browser, and everything is up to date.

In fact, I did a microsoft update 2 days ago - and thought that was an issue, until I remembered I'd managed to buy on Amazon and other online shops.

Just thought I'd put this up in case others arre having the same problem too.

Ebay, please can you post put up a notice saying Ebay has an issue, to make everyone aware of it, buyers and sellers - instead of letting everyone be spooked by issues, and try to sort things out themselves when it cannot be done.

A week later on and there is still an issue. I've cleared everything, but going from ebay to Paypal I am still stuck in a loop. How long does it take to fix?

A week ago Ebay customer service promised to email me when the problem had been fixed. I haven't received an email, which confirms it hasn't been fixed. I've not been able to buy on ebay like I always do - nothing has changed on my side, and I've been buying for over 10 years.

Not affecting everyone all the time.
If using the app, switch to PC/laptop.
Internet explorer no longer works, use chrome or firefox, sometimes it effects 1, other times the other,
I have had to keep switching between the 2.

There has been site issue last few days with paying.

I had to use firefox & chrome yesterday to pay for items before it went through,

try a different browser.

If that doesn't help, then call Paypal, they are very helpful there, and they handle the money side of things on eBay.

Thank you. I might just do that. It would be a very good idea for ebay to put up a notice saying there's an issue, to make everyone aware of it, buyers and sellers - to promote goodwill that it's actually Ebays error.
You get a spooky feeling when you try and log into Paypal and nothing happens!

I have tried another browser, but it didn't help. I'm using my laptop, Customer services have also advised to try another device, e.g. mobile phone. I do all purchases on my laptop.

I've tried all that, it doesn't work. I guess some buyers are still affected with this. 😞
