Can’t list an item, false counterfeit claim

I’m trying to list a pair of trainers and it is stopping me from doing so, stating the item is counterfeit. This isn’t true and I’d like to know why you’re assuming I have counterfeit goods to even offer!?

Not to worrry it does not matter and we are probably quicker and better repling than ebay.

Should add there is no point in asking ebay about it.

If eBay has blocked or removed a listing because it's suspected to be counterfeit, don't even think about trying to relist it.

Some years ago eBay faced multiple legal challenges over the sale of counterfeits, including a court order in France to pay over 38 million euros in damages!

Since then, eBay rapidly removes any listing reported by the brand owner as counterfeit.

Mistakes sometimes happen, but eBay isn't going to risk another confrontation with the brand owners. For 38 million euros, they won't hesitate to removing sellers who ignore warnings.
