Can’t list an item, false counterfeit claim

I’m trying to list a pair of trainers and it is stopping me from doing so, stating the item is counterfeit. This isn’t true and I’d like to know why you’re assuming I have counterfeit goods to even offer!?

Not to worrry it does not matter and we are probably quicker and better repling than ebay.

Should add there is no point in asking ebay about it.

If eBay has blocked or removed a listing because it's suspected to be counterfeit, don't even think about trying to relist it.

Some years ago eBay faced multiple legal challenges over the sale of counterfeits, including a court order in France to pay over 38 million euros in damages!

Since then, eBay rapidly removes any listing reported by the brand owner as counterfeit.

Mistakes sometimes happen, but eBay isn't going to risk another confrontation with the brand owners. For 38 million euros, they won't hesitate to removing sellers who ignore warnings.

I suggest you read VERO at the bottom of the page, that is more likely to be the real reason.

Many brand Owners do not allow their items to be sold on ebay, except by Authorised Sellers.

You Sold a Pair of YEEZY Trainers on the 13th of Dec. Did the Buyer Pay?  Just wondered if they are the ones you are trying to Relist?  If you do get a Non Payer you have to Open an Unpaid Item Case in the Resolution Centre after 2 days and Close after 4 days. That Closes the Case down and your Selling Fees will be Credited back to your Seller Account. 

You can then Relist.

This is a second pair to sell! Not to worry, based on the replies I’ll just go elsewhere. Not worth arguing with eBay over it, just was curious to see if there was a solution.

If you are being told you can not list them then do not list them

We have no idea why ebay should be stating that unless you have already listed them and they have been reported by a member or the brand owner.

See the Vero Link at the bottom of the page where some brand owners do not like their items on ebay.

If you list and they are removed then ebay may take action and you can be restricted or suspended

Ebay does not explain why. They dont have to. We all sign up to abide by ebay rules
