Buyer says they can't understand how to pay for my item now the payment options have changed

I sold a bag, then set up my bank account now ebay does not accpet paypal.

Bank account is set up and connected to ebay.

Buyer of bag says she cannot understand how to pay for the bag.

Bag is now sitting here waiting to be paid for, frozen in time.

I have told the seller my bank details.

They will not use them.

They have not paid.

I have no idea what they are seeing on their end.

How do we fix this issue?

the buyer probably thinks you are dodgy!

you do not need to give the buyer your bank details

the buyer needs to go to their purchase history, then to checkout and choose the payment option they want to use to pay you.

So they don't pay? that doesn't make sense. Ebay will protect them if I was. I'm cancelling it.

the most popular 'scam' on ebay is to ask the buyer to pay directly into the sellers bank account and then not send the item, ebay do not cover the buyer when this happens, you asked your buyer to pay directly into your bank which screams 'scam' so they have probably decided not to risk paying you in any way.

Buyer does not pay into your bank.

They go through ebay checkout as normal, can still use paypal, they pay ebay, who then pay into your  bank after a few days.

Ok, so that means they're just not paying me. So I should cancel the sale.

Never give bank details, that is what scammers do as any payments made to bank are irreversible, so buyer can lose their money and have no comeback.

Bank Transfers are only suitable to use with someone you trust and who trusts you.
