Buyer pulled out - does it automatically go to next highest bidder

Hi,

the highest bidder at my auction has pulled out and so I have cancelled the order, does this automatically then be offered to the next highest bidder or do I have to relish, think I may regret being kind and cancelling the order as they asked questions after winning and now saying item will not fit them

thanks for the advice

so I have cancelled the order,

I hope you did this the correct way, through the resolution center, and selecting "buyer and seller agree to cancel" as the reason.

If you didn't, eBay is liable to place a defect on your account for making a seller initiated cancellation - even though it was what your buyer wanted.

Sellers have even received lifetime bans on selling here because of defects received for refunding buyers the "wrong way".

It won't automatically be offered to the next highest bidder, you would need to do that yourself.

You should see the option in the drop down menu to the right of the item in the sold section of My Ebay.
