Buyer lying return

Good Morning All,

How routine is it for eBay to refund a buyer who claims item is defective when they have ignored the advert and bought something that does not fit?

It's not about £13 for item, buyer is blatantly lying. In this case manufacturer wants items back as the fault is totally new in millions they make each year. Apparently I have more chance of travelling to Mars than 2 items to fail as described.

Just wondered about eBay attitude? They are clear I will not refund after calls etc so why push the refund through, even when they can spot the fibs in the messages.

Ebay never the item, but if buyer "Claims" it is not as described you have to accept return & issue returns label. Buyer bought from you, not manufacturer, if an issue, you take it up with them, after refunding buyer
