I got an order today from someone with no name, just two letters which I presume are their initials. How can anyone create an eBay account like that? And how are they able to pay with PayPal? The account is fairly recent, opened 29th April & they have 2 positive feedacks.
Has anyone else had this experience?
I have requested eBay call me, but I'm not holding my breath. What am I to do?
It's ironic that you're concerned about trading with someone with no name, but are doing the same thing yourself.
You're obviously a business seller (and one with a first class trading record). And you accept returns, as business sellers have to.
So how is it that you're not registered as such? And why are your company name and contact details not provided in your listing, as is required. Not to mention that business sellers pay different fees, and that eBay and HMRC are collaborating to identify unregistered businesses on the site.
Either I've overlooked something, or you have. If it's you, you might want to read this: https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/policies/selling-policies/selling-practices-policy/business-seller-polic...
Having released your breath and having found no shipping address on Paypal you will have to cancel using"problems with buyers address"
You can release your breath , as it is very unlikely eBay will call you back, they are working with a very reduced staffing level due to the Covid crisis.
I have come across this many a time, just log into your Paypal account, I'm sure you will find full name details there for that transaction.
