If you bought the postage through ebay then the tracking will be on the listing in your sold section.
Did you take it too the Post office to get a proof of postage / receipt/
What does the tracking say
Your buyer needs to open a not received dispute and when they do if the tracking says delivered then you will win
If not then you will have to refund and make a claim
If you bought through ebay then you claim through Packlink for lost item.
You also need to be aware that when you make items to sell then you have to register on ebay as a business.
If you buy to sell or make to sell that is the rules

You can't have it both ways, if buyer does not receive they open a Not Received case and you refund.
You used Royal Mail, you have a proof of posting you use that to claim on Royal mail.
Only if you have tracked proof of Delivery would you win a case and even then you must add tracking to the item before a case is open.
Ebay provides a Money Back Guarantee to protect the buyer, it is up to you that you use a service that provides YOU with protection against loss. Ebay can't protect both buyer and seller, they are not an insurance company.
