Buyer collected but doesn’t have code

Evening, the buyer collected super quick but I didn't know you had too scan something, so I've asked him for the collection code and he says there's an error, so he's paid and collected but I can't show eBay that.

There is a drop down for "despatched".  As long as his payment was not made by Paypal [ie he gave you a wodge of cash] then there is no come back.  If he did pay by PP he could lie and say he did not get the item and get his money back

He seems genuine and In the emails between us he’s acknowledged he’s got the item, thanks for your help

Buyers do not always get a code.  Simply take the cash [you did didn't you] and mark the item "paid" and "despatched"

It was collection only as it was huge, so I can’t mark as despatched , I’ve contacted him and he says he doesn’t have the confirmation email or a code, he did pay me and there was no problem with him or the deal, just need this code
