Been stiffed, or paypal issue?

Very weird issue. I sold an item, On Ebay it said I'd received the 40 quid marked in green & next to the item it said view paypal transaction. Had a bad week, not thinking & my head was somewhere else so I didn't bother to check it. Today I let them pick up the item & just now decided to check my paypal & nothing there!!! Maybe they just marked it as ayment sent & I'm dopey but why would it say view paypal transaction if there wasn't one? I'm really confused! Can anyone help?

You should always check paypal and not rely on the ebay email or any email as sometimes buyers can send fake emails saying paid

You do not seem to sell a lot so check your email address on your listing by hovering over the £ sign and it should say PAid the date and the email address the money went too

That email address has to be the same as the one on paypal

If it is not correct but an address you can use add it too paypal and the money will come in.

If it is not one you can use then you will have to ask your buyer to cancel the payment and you send an invoice through paypal Request money and put in for goods and the item number and id

You are then relying on the buyer being honest as there is no way you can force them to pay again

Collection items should be cash on collection anyway as it is not safe to accept paypal

You cant refuse it but you can ask for cash
