BUYER COMPLAINTS

I have one buyer complaining his purchase arrived "crushed to oblivion" and a second buyer claiming he only received half his order. Without going into detail I feel these are cheating. Is it best to take a hit and refund them, it's not a great amount, or risk negative feedback?

Has anybody had problems getting compensation from Royal Mail? I went on their compensation site and got informed that without a Certificate of Posting for Online Postage I may only be compensated for the postage costs? If this is the case what's the point of buying postage online and then having to cart your package to a post office and waste time queing to get an official stamp when there is a full record on ebay or their own web site. Anybody had this expereince ?

as you say not of great value -

Ask the buyers to open not as described cases and refund through the case to get your eBay fees back - if you want the items back you would need to send prepaid labels.

If you don't want them back just say - sorry the item arrived damaged, please open a not as described case and I'll refund you immediately and you can dispose of the item.
