Avoiding Chinese Sellers ?

How can I avoid buying from Chinese Sellers?

Time and time again, when I purchase, it ends up being a Chinese Seller.

Whatever search methods I use, even though at first glance, the seller ends up being from China, and sometimes only at PayPal time you get a Chinese graphics or seller account name turn up.

Every single time I end up with a Chinese seller there's a problem!

It's late

It's poor quality

It's broken

There then ensues a long protracted battle trying to get a satisfactory resolution. Having to fight to get what is paid for, or get a return, or get a refund.

I am sick and tired of it.

Ebay does nothing to police this.

How can we avoid this?

You can't unfortunately. You can only Search for Item Location. A lot of them do have UK Warehouses/Fulfilment Centres, allegedly! Check the Sellers ID from their Feedback Profile. That will tell you where they are Based.  The Location on the Listing will tell you were the Item is Located. Usually UK or China.

Also Check the Sellers Feedback. If the Item Location is UK but sent directly without going to the UK Distribution Point, you can Report the Seller for "Item Location Misrepresentation."

the search criteria is for ITEM location

you cannot search for a sellers location

sellers who have a UK distribution point can state UK as the item location as the item is sent there first and then to the buyer

if you wish to avoid buying from these sellers you need to check the seller location before you buy,

to see the seller location go to their feedback profile page by clicking on the number in brackets next to their ID,

you should be looking at a sellers feedback profile before you buy anything, as that is what feedback is for, to be read before purchase so that you can decide whether you want to buy from that person.

if an item location is stated as UK and the item is sent directly to you, without going to the UK distribution point, you can report the seller for item location misrepresentation:-
