Account Updates

Hi

I am getting emails from EBAY that i must change my payment details from paypal and include my personal account details so they can transfer funds from 1 June. It also states that from that date if i do not do it i will not be able to upload new items

Is this a scam ?

I am quite happy with the paypal system as i know item is paid before i despatch.

Thanks

No not a scam

Every one who wants to sell on ebay have to sign up to it

Many of us are already on that system

The option for buyers to  pay by paypal is still there but ebay take the payment

it does not go to your paypal address

Nope this is not a scam,  if it came through your eBay messaging and addressed you by your name and not just your username ID.

All sellers will be under eBay's Managed Payments,    this year,  there will be no more receiving payouts from sales going into your Paypal account,  eBay need details of a current or business account of yours,  because after taking fees they will transfer the remainder into that nominated bank account.

You must give them those bank details by the deadline you've been given 1st June otherwise you will not be able to use this account for selling.
