I received an offer for an item. It was accepted later in the day by myself however the guy has messaged saying he doesn’t need it anymore as bought another one. I thought it was still binding even if it’s best offer?

Open an Unpaid Item Case after 2 days in the Resolution Centre. Close on day 5. Your Fees will be Refunded. The Buyer will receive an Unpaid Strike on his Account. 2 of those and he will be Blocked by most Sellers who have their Blocks in place. Neither of you can leave Feedback. Put him on your Blocked Bidders List.

As with any other non payer you open an Unpaid Case after 2 days and close 4 days later.

You can't force a buyer to pay, if you could there would be no need for the Unpaid Procedure.
