A problem linking my nectar card with my ebay account

I relocated from Germany to the UK two years ago, and changed my ebay account details accordingly.

A UK shipping and billing address, a UK paypal account, a UK debit card. When I tried to link my nectar card with my ebay account, I received the following message: 

"You need an eBay.co.uk account to enroll in the Nectar programme on eBay"

I know I could circumvent this issue by opening a new ebay account. Nevertheless, I was wondering whether there might be a way to tweak my existing account to enable utilisation of the nectar card.

Could anybody help me?
