2 - 5th April - Very Few Messages from buyers - was there a problem with eBay?

Hi All, 

On a normal day i get 10 - 15 enquiries. over weekends and bank holidays this usually increases to 20 - 30 messaged per day. These are usually enquiries requesting assistnace in finding the correct item. 90% of these messages lead to a sale. 

However, this bank holday weekend just gone, 2n - 5th April, i recieved very few messaages, just 3 messages over the 4 days. I had more on Xmas Day!

I just received another message from an ebay memeber stating they mesaged me over the weekend and would like a response. This is the 3rd person since yesterday to state they had messaged me over the weekend. I have no other messages from these eBay users, either in my eBay or my E-mail inbox. 

So my question is, did anyone else experiance similer issue with messages?

and

is there a way eBay can recover and send me thes messsags. i probably lost a few thousand in sales 😞
