OK, so these at ebay towers have demolished the door to our dungeon, we've been up all night tunnelling in again, and here's the new entrance!

Hopefully all the guards will soon find their way back in, and 'normal' service will be resumed as soon as possible.

The inmates seem to still be here, also the torture play room and all the usual toys. The young dragons were a bit peckish, so good job we got back in today - tomorrow may have seen them nibbling the inmates!

The hot chocolate wasn't very hot when I got back in, but is now fresh, and storecupboards and fridges full of the usual food.

Apologies to any innmates who have missed some meals, but bacon butties coming soon, to compensate for our 'technical' hitch. ___________________________________________________________________________

three snowmobiles delivered, only to be used in an emergency, not chocolate shopping fairy,:-x or by young dragons, snowshoes i have put outside my cell for those wishing to go tramping in the snow. i have restocked goulash, also french onion soup, and blackberry and apple pies, as bad snow is forcast i have purchased for myself a dog team, if anyone wishes to borrow the team, just slip a note under my cell door.

thank you for your note fairy, though i think using the snowmobile to race cat with the dog team is not such a good idea, as they get very hungry after a run, and your large load of chocolate onboard may be tempting fate, as they would devour anything, or anyone who had the faintest whiff of chocolate about them, as two old ladies coming back from Bingo in the church hall found out, all that was left was one support stocking, and a snippet of tweed, and a lower set of dentures

Such a shame for many who are now housebound due to the snow.

I rang my elderly neighbours, got an order from them, and I did the online supermarket order, that helped them a lot.

Ah, maybe not the best of my idea's then Mally, but you must admit it was a good try. :^O

Snow not too bad here today (Sunday night) - we had a fair bit Friday but it's been gradually fading away since then. We're getting a lot of powdery stuff coming down but not sticking. 

My car is under a cover and not coming out till the weather is better. (One of the perks of being retired - I don't have to be out and about.)

I've two elderly neighbours who don't go out even on foot if it's icy, so I may need to go shopping for them tomorrow. Thankfully, we live near enough to walk into town, or have bus stop opposite house if necessary.

I'd love to go off with a dog team, but there's not really enough snow here at the moment!

Am sipping hot choc, with mini marshmallows, and choc chip cookies yet again - very addictive on these cold nights!   Big flasks keeping hot in the main kitchen and makings of all other types of hot drinks. All manner of biscuits in the cupboards above the drinks worktops.

Well I can see you lot are still having fun and games lol x Meanwhile while i wait for my chicken and chips to be cooked by hubby,time for a quick post.Still working obviously, had a great chritmas and new year! went to Egypt saw all the sights and then spent a week in sharm.Its snowed so bad here today that i have not been able to get into work,fortunately i was on manadatory training so can catch that up.Worked at home drinking loads of coffee and now have eye :^Oache from the computer.Glad that the Drags are enjoying the winter weather and do think of you loads!! will keep popping in anad flying by but unfortunately not available yet for any extra guard duties, chocolate munching,goulash eating or wine tasting, certainly not for cell cleaning, don't even do that well  here xx take care all of you and spk soon xxx

Hi all ... when I went to bed last night around 10, the snow was fading away nicely, looking like it'd be gone today.  I put on the security lights at few minutes ago, and looked out the windows to check what was wrong as one of the cats had come flying through the cat flap..! 

The snow is now treble the depth it had been yesterday, before it had started its apparent 'melt'.  :_|  Best cancel the online shopping order. 

At least it will help me keep my new year resolution to stop eating choklit..!  I SO wanted choklit..!  I'll survive with everything else I have in the house ~ it won't be exciting, but I could always try baking again for something sweet ... or, maybe not..!!!  :^O  My last muffins, made with 'alternative flours', as I've a severe wheat allergy, I'm currently using as door stops..!  :_|

If at first you don't succeed ... in my case ... stop..!!!  B-)  :^O

There was some more over my side of the hill, but the sun was shining yesterday and melted some of it, but last night it was freezing, so it looks a bit ice skating rink-ish outside, I intend to stay in as I have lately.

Thank goodness there is alternative flours for you to use, such a shame about the allergy. (hug)

:^O me and my big mouth, snow dumped on us this afternoon and this evening, approx 5 ins, but the garden and the hills surrounding us look beautiful,:-) may get more tonight, grandaughter hoping her school will be closed, my daughter tells me dood the dog, keeps growling at the snowman outside the patio door:^O

Not mentioning the s word, but......I'm looking at the first flurries of something white blowing about outside. 😞  

We've had nothing much here apart from a bit a week ago and more on Monday which had almost gone by this morning. I'm not impressed if we get some today too!  We're in an area that's lucky enough to rarely get hit by anything.

I definitely replied to Flo's post a few days ago - not sure where ebay has posted that!!  The great cyberspace of ebay towers must be 'snowed' under (didn't mention the s word!) with lost posts flurrying about.

So, in case nursie returns to see it...

Glad you had a good time over Christmas, and am jealous of your trip to Egypt - I'd like to go sometime. Now I'm retired, I have the time, but unfortunately not the funds, particularly as I'm still supporting dragon daughter each month! 

(Now even got a bus pass, which makes me feel ancient, but has helped me get into town this last week or so. I usually walk as it's not far, but I draw the line at slipping and sliding on icy pavements.)

So......honorable ancient dragon of dungeon ponders ancient hibernating traditions....
