OK, so these at ebay towers have demolished the door to our dungeon, we've been up all night tunnelling in again, and here's the new entrance!

Hopefully all the guards will soon find their way back in, and 'normal' service will be resumed as soon as possible.

The inmates seem to still be here, also the torture play room and all the usual toys. The young dragons were a bit peckish, so good job we got back in today - tomorrow may have seen them nibbling the inmates!

The hot chocolate wasn't very hot when I got back in, but is now fresh, and storecupboards and fridges full of the usual food.

Apologies to any innmates who have missed some meals, but bacon butties coming soon, to compensate for our 'technical' hitch. ___________________________________________________________________________

Hope everyone had a good time yesterday, and that the festivities continue well!

It's over a year since the guards and prisoners appear to have abandoned the dungeon and reassembled on Facebook in different clothing.  It's good to know that the old thread here is still functioning though, we all have happy memories of the old boards, particularly the Treasure Hunt.

If PayPal are splitting from eBay who's going to be in charge of the payment side of things?  From what I've seen during my time using this site I really don't think eBay are capable of running the payment side of things effectively - they can barely manage the business of getting the site to work properly!  If they attempt to start running the payment side of things as well I really think it'll be a fatal mistake that'll end up finishing eBay off for good.

And it had to happen sooner or later.  In true eBay style, they've imposed yet another change upon us that amounts to little more than endless tinkering.  Have a look at the header and footer - they've both been changed!  What's going to be the focus of the next cockup for the site?

As a result of a lot of jobs I've had in the past I'm used to working with idiots, which is why I can tolerate a lot of the silly stuff that eBay does.  There is a limit though - if they go too far I'll go elsewhere.  There are a lot of things - not to mention people - that I don't like, but if I can make use of them to get what I want then I will.

You make many assumptions without knowing all of the facts.  I work contract jobs, most of which are short-term jobs, which then necessitates a move to the next one.  I do not view all people as idiots - I give people a chance first but if they mess it up by doing or saying something stupid or which causes offence then I don't bother with them anymore unless I get a genuine and sincere apology.  If I can't get what I want I persevere and find another way to get it instead of giving up like a defeatist.  I have friends, although most of them are offline in th real world, as opposed to on the other end of an e-mail.

After the man there threw out all those cables, maybe it is time I sorted out my spare buttons stored in a box.
