Hello Community 🙂 - hope you are all well on this fine day and excited about our new Competition! My name is Paul and I have been working on this competition too. Am happy to answer any questions you have. Henry is working on other boards at the moment - so you'll have to make do with me. Im afraid Im not in the henry league of posting (he is a little genius...) but hopefully Ill be of some use.

I think this is a great promotion (and Im not just saying that because I work here...) because it enables you to discover parts of the site you never knew existed. I am a Powerseller in the Collectables and PPG categories, but know little about the Technology categories....so im hoping to learn lots too as I browse the site. (as an employee, Im not allowed to submit an entry, but Im still allowed to try and work out the answers to the questions.....let me in on some of the fun eghhh!!)

Anyway, looking forward to talking to ya' all.....

Paul...can you explain the prizes given to categories. I only sell in 'Dolls and bears' as it's all dolls and doll items i sell. That means i only have 2 days to enter with the chance of winning a years magazine subs where other categories have fabulous prizes.
As a powerseller who pays a small fortune in ebay and paypal fees, what is the incentive?? The sellers in other categories aren't paying more for the ebay services so why are prizes so different??

Hi babestimes 3 - thanks for posting and hello! I am not Percy - who is Percy.....?? In response to your question about the Dolls and Bear prizes, this is by no means an attempt on our part to discriminate against our Collectables sellers. After all, I am actually a powerseller in collectables and have never used any of the other categories before, so id never do the dirty on my brethren ;). The reason for offering these subscriptions is that feedback from previous promotions has been that our users want us to offer variety in our prizes. As with the national lottery, some want one thing and one thing only - the million pound jackpot...so for those types we have the posh fancy new car. Whereas some like the £10 prize because they know they have more chance of winning. So we also offered 500 smaller prizes ie. the subscriptions. Hope this helps......enjoy the comp!

Hi Everyone, in particular radioshed for this one....

Ive gone across to the other tower in ebay towers and asked my more technologically minded peers about RSS. Excuse me if this is all obvious and you know it all already...but at least I have learnt a new fact for the day!! It means Really simple syndication apparently and this is how it works.. there are RSS companies who offer a service whereby you have an accoutn with them where you bookmark into your own 'library' all your favourite pages from different websites. So instead of having to browse the web for each of your faves, you just go into your little library. And now we have introduced RSS onto some ebay pages so that you can also bookmark ebay pages with these companies. To find one of these providers, prob best to google 'RSS provider'. Hope this helps, and if what i have written is very simple and ya' all thinkin 'yehhhh - knew that already' then sorry....
