I ordered some goods online and paid for them and then after not having them arrive i e.mailed the company to ask what had happened. I then had an e.mail from someone from the company saying could i ring her urgently. I rang and she ran through very quickly some garbled nonsense about my details not going through and could i tell her over the phone so that she could send my things. I nearly went and did it but then thought"hang on a minuite she could be anyone". I then put the phone down. when i went back on the site it did say pay by pay pal (which i have not used yet), or phone with your payment details. I had not seen this but thought well im not doing that. Why do people ask you for details over the phone?. Its not on surely. Thats how details get into the wrong hands?.
Am i right?,,,what do others think?.
