It's not good when you have waited for an appointment only to be let down by them and they don't help you, hopefully then you will have more luck with your GP, such a shame though that you have to wait a month, is there anyway you could be seen sooner?..maybe ask the receptionist if there is a cancellation can you have it!.. i had a call from the crisis team, but no joy there, they talk about care in the community its a joke, i need respite care for my psychiatric problems but they have closed the few that were available, i would rather wait and speak with my own doctor as he understands me when i go off on one

It is always best if you can talk to someone about your sadness/worries who really does know you, as the ice has been broken so to speak and you don't have to start at the beginning, always remember to give all that you feel as then a picture can be formed by the person who is helping you and the help and treatment can be started much sooner, as if you hold things back then those won't be considered and you may go home with regret that you did not say it all!...It does help too if you write down anything that has happened inbetween visits then you don't forget anything, as even the smallest of details could trigger your sadness off and it might be small to you but that bit of imformation could be the key so to speak!.. just looked up post. i agree with you fairy its best to speak to to someone who really knows you. family i would say or your gp.i think sometimes if the other person is not well who your talking to can lead to them feeling low as they are not qualified to help golden angel
