"You pays your money, you takes your chance ..."

About a month ago a middle aged couple won £33,000,000.00.  Being honest and, more the the point realistic,  forgetting the Lear Jet and cabin cruiser, how much money would it take to change your life, to pay your bills and to stop you worrying about where the next penny is coming from, taking care of No 1, yourself?

I'd buy a house - I'm too old to buy one now - £330,000.00

normal car which wouldn't attract vandals - £18,000.00  Why waste money on a Mercedes which will only attract vandals to carve their initials into your wing?

Burn all my credit cards and put money back into my currant account - £4000.00

£360,000.00 would change my life forever because I'm already a pensioner

In fact, just £1000.00 would buy me a second-hand car.

Can anybody "up there" hear me? 😄

I once bought a Euromillions ticket when the rollover was over a hundred million.

"How much for my soul?"  I shouted out, looking up to the heavens.

"NO!"  screamed some stupid girl at work.  "He doesn't mean it!"  Everybody looked.  Put the mockers on it - that's why I'm still here scratching the pennies on eBay sales - doh!
