missing Christmas card

having just received a notice from the post office for excess postage to pay on something, I paid up and a card arrived.

it was in a dark green envelope, it's a Christmas tree and on the back a note wishing me all the best for my op.

it's from a couple called Barbara and John.

I'm sorry but I have no idea who it is, is it one of you lovely laydees on here? if it is I'm very sorry I didn't recognise you but thankyou so much!!!

any ideas?

I fankyou. x

Re: missing Christmas card

Marbles are actually quite difficult to find you know - "him indoors" had to search all over when I needed for making anti-stress kits.

Re: missing Christmas card

We live quite near to the Dartington Glass factory, and they used to sell some beautiful ones, we used to buy a couple each time we went, they wern't cheap for the size of them, they are mostly arty ones, not like the ones we had as children.

Re: missing Christmas card

hactually I have a bag of marbles here, and a jack too...just kids ones though.

They're quite expensive to buy the old ones aren't they?
