Cookie well done to you and everyone else who helps Biker, she is a wonderwoman and those people she helps must treasure her.

This country has jewels like Biker all over but she is our special one.

It just goes to prove every little helps when supporting a charity as I know from what I recieve from  members and friends for Days for Girls.

I have not got my total yet for this MDCC but I will let you know once the pennies are in.

Well done Cookie and Biker,   it's nice to know a few of my pennies have been put to good use and I get to display some lovely work.

Well, after the fabulous help you all gave to Biker's Oldies for Christmas, I launched my £500 appeal for Biker to take her 32 Oldies on a day trip on a coach in July 2005.  It is something that Biker really wants to do as voluntary-aided funding only allows St Michaels to keep up with the hot dinner once a week!

It is MDCC that allows Biker to do the milestone birthdays with raffle prizes etc.

I have raised £20 so far for the day-trip via MDCC and 'charity sales' - but I'll keep going.  I haven't even got them to the end of the road yet!

LoL - you always have to love a trier don't you?

I sent Biker a parcel of 32 knitted hats and 12 scarves, neckwarmers and shawls.

I also knitted 25 Christmas puddings to covera Ferrero Rocher to go on their Christmas Lunch Table.

I have also sent Biker £50 from the sale of knitted Christmas things sold to friends, so I think she will be galloping towards that total for their day out.

Well done everyone!
