husband v messages

so I asked OH if he could pick up a packet of value salted butter for me today on his way out of work (it's only 98p but it has a nice flavour)...

 

he came home and handed me a packet of English unsalted butter.....

 

you've gotta love 'em haven't ya?

this is the nearest recipe I can get, as I sort of wing it mostly.

 

I also, and this is important, at the end of cooking up-end the farls so that all the sides get a little toasted.

 

best served straight from the griddle or pan, split and buttered, you can use savoury or sweet toppings.

 

any over next day? split the soda in half and toast, add butter........... or for and ulster fry, fried in a little oil, similiar to the full english ...omg to die for.

 

bacon or scrambled eggs are nice to top with.

 

must warn you though these are really filling
