..I think I may have either chipped the top knuckle on my pinkie finger, but I may have only damaged tendons?
I have it taped to mt other finger but I'm getting some really bad stinging type pains after I have tried to use that hand.
Did you strap up your finger when you broke yours? should I just leave it on it's own?
can't be 'arrised going the doc....what do you think?

Sorry that your finger still isn't right CB. If I were you, I'd go to A & E and see what they say. Hope that it soon feels better.

You should have had it looked at by now. Naughty!

get yourself to A&E and let the professions decide. I ignored a toe injury about 7 years ago and ended up having an op last year. Please don't put it off. It may be nothing but you never know!!!!

Only an xray will show if it is broken, and the A & E dept will splint it properly if it is broken. Trying to treat it yourself will only encourage arthritis in the joint.

No stinging or burning when I did mine CB bt was quite clearl broken as when I poited North my digit still wen't south .
As others have said with the pain you are describing get yourself to A&E and sort an x-ray out then let them deal with it
You really don't want a wierd pointy out over curved finger like mine

being a diabetic i thoight you were advised not to take things like breaks and possible fractures more seriously?

well I worked out what the stinging pain was...I had a lolly stick splint on and it was rubbing up against the side of my finger ans stinging.....what a dope.
It was swllen today at the top of my finger so I've just strapped it up and it's much more comfortable.
thanyou for worrying about me...I'm fine honest.
Stroppy...I have arthritis in my hands anyway...and I'm accident prone, gawd as I get older I end up more and more like a 2yr old hahahahaaaaa
