so what have you got planned for xmas dinner

I have only three of the four boys and the girly, hubby and me.

they quite like turkey, but love the gammon....... so I usually get a huge gammon.. they nibble at it for a couple of days after.

one doesnt like gravy (who doesnt like gravy?) 

I love brussels...

parsnips kinda burnt ....... but i am the only one........ the rest get garden peas and carrots

yorkshire puddings they love them............. and thats an import from you lot that we have to thank for

I have commented on bread sauce? I would love to taste it........as It seems to be an integretal part of xmas dinner

dessert........... they dont care for.

We had a toffee and pecan roulade last year and it was gorgeous.

I love most puds Maggie but my mum's not really got a sweet tooth.  My favourite is cheesecake followed by fruit crumble and custard.  Anything else we do though.

Good for you Gina! I must say since moving here & going full time with my career ive had less episodes of what I call deep depressing thinking sessions, & I too have put up decorations & felt good about it.lol. My Divorce is also gathering speed ,to me that's the last hurdle& can't come soon enough then I can truly move on with my life, I looked on Dec with Trepidation because it's also my wedding Anniversary but not this year.
I'm sorry ive hijacked this thread!. lol.

just wanted to say to our wonderful members who are lonely or depressed                                                                        

I was sectioned for six months..... I cant wait for xmas... yes I have dark times... but you CAN get through it

If any one is having a hard time reach out to any of us please.......... the friends on here got me through as I had alienated myself from every one.

It's never been a tradition in our family as I can't remember my mother or my gran ever serving it.
