Come on in then CB. Yes it is rather chilly. In fact, it's blowing a gale here at the moment.

That's two coo's in nighties then - I am here, tacked up in bed after getting VERY wet and VERY cold earlier. I was so wet that I had to get undressed in the shower and run the shower to help warm me up. Had a mug of soup too. My feet are still blocks of ice.
It's absolutely throwing it down, and very windy - not the best day to be out in it!
Had a meeting at the the council this morning, all about Deprivation Of Liberty Safeguards (DOLS), then did some shopping before finishing at the community hospital for blood tests.
The Works have a massive sale on, and the place is half empty, for once I could actually get in and get around. Makes me wonder if they are closing at least that branch.
Have a duvet day tomorrow - mind you I need it. Our staff team is supposed to have the equivalent of 4.5 full time workers (157.5 hours per week). There are me doing 22 hours and my colleague doing 30 hours, so to say that is manic is putting it mildly. There was no-one in on Friday, so there were 47 messages on the answering machine on Monday morning.

Hope that you warm up soon Stroppy. My mum always has cold feet. I'm the opposite as my feet are nearly always hot. I can't sleep when my feet are hot.
I'm off to make a drink. Does anybody want one?

I can never remember what happened to the teddy that I had when I was little. We've moved house three times since then so I've no hope of finding it now. I do have a little teddy bear that was attached to a birthday card that Steph gave me a few years ago. I keep that in the car so whenever I see it, I always think of my lovely Goddaughter.

I have an extensive collection of teddies of all shapes, sizes and materials. I still have my childhood bear, he's got quite a few holes and his filling (wood shavings) tends to leak out. Hos growl no longer works though.

aaww I'm glad to see we all like teddies. I have a dolls cot too and it has the twins in and a big teddy that is supposed to weigh the same as a year old child, so when you hold it you cradle it and I haven't known anyone who holds her not to rock her!!! her name is Bobo's and she's so cute.
I used to collect older type bears but they got too expensive and I can't have anymore as I don't have the room anymore...boohoo.

Sorry folks, can't stay awake much longer. I will try to pop in tomorrow.

CB, you should have seen the number of teddies Steph had when she was about 9 or 10. They all had names which either where they came from or they were named after the person that gave them to her. All of the teddies were on her bed and apparently, she used to sleep with them all there. Your guess is as good as mine as to how.
